Clinics, Demos, and Evening Reception Questions
What does it mean to demo partner equipment? Take a break from the clinics and spend an entire day Friday or Saturday trying the latest gear from NSP partners. Ever want to ski in a pair of boots before you buy them, or talk to a ski company rep about the perfect set of skis specifically for you and have the ability to go try them? NSP partners will have their 2017/2018 ski equipment for you to try before it hits stores in fall 2018. Try skis, snowboards, boots, poles, bindings, and even some soft goods and see what fits you best. There will be limited equipment from each company; therefore, in order for all Powderfall attendees to have a chance to demo all the gear, you will be asked to only take each piece of equipment out for one or two runs, or less than one hour. This demo is limited to participants 16 and older.
What can snowboarders do at Powderfall? Snowboarders are welcome at Powderfall and are able to participate in all events and sessions that are available, with the exception of sessions that are dedicated to telemark skiers. Powderfall is not currently offering PSIA demo team snowboard instructors, however if enough interest is shown this could become an option.
Why should I visit the exhibits? Everyone likes a great deal, free stuff, and wants to be "in the know." Come to the Westin Conference Center-Mt. Daly Ballroom after 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday afternoon to visit NSP Partner Booths for amazing deals on gear, free giveaways, and to talk with NSP partner companies about what they offer on the NSP Pro Deals Page and NSP Online Store.
Registration only includes evening receptions; what about other meals? Powderfall registration includes three evening receptions that will have heavy appetizers and drinks. With each registration packet you receive at check in, you will also receive a restaurant discount handbook to the 13-plus restaurants in the Snowmass Village and mall. Snowmass Village provides a wide array of priced restaurants for each meal of the day. Need more choices? Take the free shuttle from the village to Aspen, where there are countless more restaurants.
What clinics are available? Clinics are included with the Powderfall registration from most of the national programs. To learn more about all the offerings, visit our registration site coming in late August 2016.
