Can I purchase lift tickets?
Yes! Discounted lift tickets are available to purchase on the Powderfall registration site. We are pleased to offer the following: 3-Day Passes ($316), 4-Day Passes ($410), 5-Day Passes ($497), 6-Day Passes ($577), 7-Day Passes ($654). There is also a link to purchase Epic Passes at an early-bird rate until the end of November. You do not need to purchase lift tickets upon your initial registration to Powderfall. You may go back into registration anytime BEFORE March 15, 2024 to purchase lift tickets. There are no refunds on lift tickets after March 15, 2024.

Is my family able to attend Powderfall?
Yes, families and friends are encouraged to join. They do have to register to participate in evening events or attend non-patrol related activities.

I have an EPIC pass, can I use this to ski at Powderfall?
Yes, you are allowed to use your EPIC pass.

All the (toboggan) sessions I want to participate are filled, is there a waitlist?
Yes, register for the sessions you would like and if they are filled you will be added to a waitlist. NSP staff will review openings to make sure others are not double booked or taking up spots.

Are all the sessions currently listed on the website? 
Yes, sessions are currently listed on the registration website and there is a link on powderfall.com under Sessions. However, sessions may be added or modified. After registration closes, all attendee information including sessions will be moved to our Event App. This will go live on March 21 and details to download the app/access the desktop version will be sent to all Powderfall attendees. You will be able to modify sessions and if you clear a waitlist, you will be notified via the app.

Does Powderfall include any food or drinks?
Yes! Thursday there will be a group dinner before the Opening Evening Session and Keynote Speaker. Friday at Aprés + Awards we will have snacks available before the awards ceremony - consider this a light snack before you head to dinner (see the dining section for additional information). Saturday we’ll host a pizza buffet before the screening of Mission Mt. Mangart. A cash bar will be available at the evening functions if you wish to purchase alcoholic beverages onsite. We’ll also have some fun activations such as Demos & Donuts and Whiskey & Wax during the week.

Are scholarships available to Powderfall?
Yes! We had an overwhelming response to our scholarships. We are thrilled that the Powder Scholar Class of 2024 has been selected! We’ll be honoring them during Aprés + Awards on Friday.

Are there more food options than in past years?
Lionshead & Vail Village offer many food options at all price points. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Vail Resort will also have several options on-hill. Please see the dining section under Vail for more information.

Is there a shuttle from Denver Airport and Eagle/Vail Airport to Vail?
NSP has secured discounted shuttle rates with Epic Mountain Express to and from DEN and EGE. This link can be found in the “Getting There” section under VAIL on the Powderfall website.

Do you offer discounts on ski rentals?

What are the cancellation policies?
Please refer to the event registration page for details as cancellation policies vary for different registration elements. For event registration and educational session fees - 95% of those fees are refundable until December 31, 2023 and 75% if cancelled between January 1 - February 15, 2024. The service fee is not refundable. There are no refunds for registration or paid sessions after February 15, 2024. Lift tickets are also non-refundable after March 15, 2024.
